Data collected

• Newsletter: email and language (locale) only.
• Comments: processed by GitHub/Giscus and require a GitHub account.
• Technical server logs (short retention).
• Essential preferences (theme and language), stored in your browser.

Purpose

Data is used only for the stated purpose: sending the newsletter, showing comments, and operating the site securely. We do not sell data or buy lists.

Cookies

We use only essential storage (theme, language, security). We do not use marketing cookies — so there is no consent banner in the MVP. If tracking/marketing is ever added, a consent banner will be introduced.

Analytics

The MVP uses no invasive analytics. If we adopt metrics in the future, it will be a privacy-friendly solution, mentioned here.

Newsletter

Subscription uses double opt-in and every email includes an unsubscribe link. We collect only email and language. You can unsubscribe or request removal at any time.

Comments (Giscus/GitHub)

Comments use Giscus on top of GitHub Discussions. The third-party script/iframe only loads when you click “Load comments”. Data is processed by GitHub under its policies, and public comments are the responsibility of whoever posts them.

Providers and international transfer

Some providers — for example hosting (Vercel), GitHub/Giscus and the newsletter provider — process data and may be located outside Brazil, following their own privacy policies.

Retention

Newsletter: while subscribed, plus the provider’s minimum period after unsubscribing. Technical logs: short retention. We do not retain data without a purpose.

Your rights and contact

You can request access, correction or removal of your data. Newsletter: use the unsubscribe link or request removal. Comments: manage them through your GitHub account.
