Why did I start a blog?

1 minIntroductoryDifficulty: 1 of 4 — Introductory

Because I've always liked writing, except most of the time I write for myself.

Because the exercise of trying to put the chaos of my mind on paper makes me a little calmer.

Because when I start writing, I disconnect from everything else, creating a deeper connection with myself.

Because the ritual of writing while listening to music gets me excited.

Because I decided to make my thoughts, or at least part of them, public, with the intent of talking with other people about topics I care about.

Because there's a genuine wish to contribute to people who are searching for their first opportunity.

Because when someone asks me a complex question, I'll be able to send a link to a long piece instead of giving a shallow answer.

Because I can't accept simple answers to complex problems.

Because I have a selfish desire to use what I write here to add something to my career, somehow, down the road.

Because I started studying marketing more, and I learned I need to build my personal brand and grow my digital presence.

Because a friend told me he'll be the first to read every post.

Because I registered this domain years ago, started this more than once and stopped, and I got tired of procrastinating.

Because I bought iA Writer at some point in the last few years, meaning to use it to write for a blog, and this is the first time I've actually used it.

Because in some multiverse, there's another version of me who's a writer.

Because if the future is made of AI-written blogs, I want to come back here and remember I'm still human, lol.

Because I could keep going forever with more reasons, but you get the idea, right?
